One of the best things in European Escapadetour is the fact that there two nights in Amsterdam trip, which very few do. Amsterdam is a city that most want to visit because it has real soul. As much as I love about Amsterdam is not representative of the Netherlands. So to stay two nights you have the opportunity to see this vibrant city in more depth, while many of time to leave the Dutch countryside.

No need to start very early today so 8.30 is the correct. A stroll through the city to guide all about us half-hour drive to the diamond-polishing factory Gassan. Amsterdam is one of the largest diamond polishing centers the world. Diamonds are, of course, loved by many and once you see the other process, at least sounds interesting. Not only show the polishing of diamonds, but a lot of polished diamonds as well.

After an hour in the diamond polishing factory Gassan we went through the tunnel passing under the main port of Amsterdam to the road that heads north of the city. After a short journey in 15 minutes which gave me the opportunity to begin to demonstrate everyone how much below sea level, the field is, we got to the cheese and place of Irene Hoeve Slipper.

It may sound a bit corny (Excuse the game words) that goes to a dairy demonstration, but added that the Dutch sense of humor and enough entertainment experience. Immediately after cheese that demonstrate how Dutch wooden shoes are made. Clogs or clompen in Dutch, are still used by tens of thousands of people in Holland, especially farmers.

After the opportunity to collect some memories we make our way around the edge of the dam to make a stop at a mill Working wind. We stopped for a photo and told me a little about the famous Dutch windmill.

Right at the time we reached the pretty fishing village of Volendam about 30 minutes north of Amsterdam. Full of beautiful buildings, quaint shops, restaurants and places to eat this must see is right at the freshwater lake created in the 20th century to be reclaimed for the projected population growth for 2000. Many had the opportunity try the small Dutch pancakes, they are just treating After lunch, or before I think any did. This was a lunch stop real success with everyone.

A short trip and we were back in Amsterdam, opposite the main station. This is where we embarked on our cruise through the canals of Amsterdam a great way to end the day and see this fascinating city built on water.
