Lake Erie College is located in Painesville, Ohio. This school is four years of private school nonprofit that offers Bachelor, the Masters, the then baccalaureate certificates. Lake Eric College offers many different equine studies programs that focus on promoting students' confidence and skills leadership, along with all the horse related skills required to succeed in the equine industry.
Students can choose from many areas different. One is that students can focus on entrepreneurship is equine. The equine degree program Entrepreneurship is a multi-disciplinary approach that focuses business management and equine studies are needed to succeed in the equine industry. Lake Erie College is the first institution in the nation to offer this major. Students also learn valuable management skills along with equine health and other courses of horses.
Students can also choose the commander in Equine Business and Facility Management. This degree is designed for students who have an interest in the managerial aspect of the equine industry. Students are required to take upper level business courses that will prepare them for pharmaceutical sales, marketing, equine nutrition, insurance, holidays and sickness.
The Students can also choose to focus on becoming a teacher Equestrian / Trainer. This program is designed for students who have sufficient knowledge, skills athletic, and dedication to become a riding instructor or to train horses. In addition to the requirements of the core curriculum, students will have to diligently practice their riding skills. Students will spend time working with young horses and teaching riders no experience so they can gain the confidence and skills necessary to become professional trainers.
Students can also opt for focus on different concentrations of equine studies. Some of the different concentrations available to students include therapeutic riding, managing of stud, marketing and business management.

Lake Erie College is home to the Intercollegiate Dressage Association 2006 National Reserve Champions.
The Lake Erie College Equestrian George M. Humphrey The Center is located in the town of Concord, about six kilometers from the main campus. The center has a 100Â 'x 225' Indoor Arena with a capacity for 1,000 spectators, an enclosed 70a 'x 130' warm-up arena, two stages outdoor dressage sand, limestone sand, a golf game with cross-country obstacles, including two banks and trails. The Equestrian Center became a place British Horse Society approved, obtaining certification from the internationally renowned British Horse Society (BHS) in 2005. It is one of only seven BHS approved riding establishments United States, the first to be approved in the state of Ohio and only the second American university to get approval.
The Clarence T. Reinberger Equestrian Job Center, part of the Equestrian Center has a new roof, stalls, wash racks, carpet, lights and more. 80a also includes an indoor 'X 96A' Arena and equine stud farm laboratory. The George M. Humphrey Equestrian Center offers parking for over 110 horses.
