Phoenix residents- is this a good neighborhood?
I have reserved a vacation rental in Phoenix, oiff Shea Blvd, right next to the 51. Is this a good neighborhood? I mistakenly booked us in a hotel on the seedier part of town last year and would like to avoid the same mistake.

Agree this is a solid area in North Phoenix. Paradise Valley Mall is about a mile a way and you can take a nice hike at nearby ( 1.5 miles) Dreamy Draw Park (east of Northern Ave off the 51). Easy and conveninet drive east into Scottsdale. You’ll be A-OK staying here!
