Like to do the river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest in mid March. What would the weather be like?
March can still be winter, with freezing weather and even snow and ice. But it can also be spring weather with sunshine and days warm enough to walk around in a sweater but the night temperature will drop down to (almost) freezing.
First of all, have you checked that the cruise you want to make runs that early in the year?
If so, not a problem at all. They do not run cruises unless they expect guests.
If the cruise is not advertised, you can try at a cruise company or ask your travel agent about it, but I think it is early in the year and if not many cruises are organized in that time of the year, it will be with a good reason.
